The UNESCO Almaty Office was opened in 1994 and works in four countries, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Since then the organization has implemented hundreds of projects to contribute to peace and human development through its five sectors: Education, Natural Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Culture and Communication and Information.We would like to share with you the main highlights of our work in 2020 in this infographic.
