Take part in a UNESCO survey on the role of teachers in creating a safe and non-violent educational environment: make your opinion count!

12 March 2020

UNESCO launches a global survey on the role of teachers in creating a safe and non-violent educational environment.

Every third student in the world faces violence and bullying at school. Those children and adolescents who are affected are twice as likely to think about suicide, suffer from depression, low self-esteem, miss classes, and develop health problems.

Ensuring that all children, adolescents and young people have the opportunity to receive education in a safe, non-violent, inclusive and enabling environment for teachers and students is a strategic priority for UNESCO.

This survey will provide first-hand information on how teachers understand school violence, how they respond to it, and what kind of educational programs can help them become more prepared and confident in countering school violence.

Every teacher's opinion is important for us as we aim to draw attention of all interested parties to the problem of school violence and to create effective prevention tools and strategies.

Together we can make school a safer and friendlier place, enabling better teaching and learning for everyone.

Take part in a short survey by UNESCO. All information you provide will remain anonymous.
